Product Description
PBST (phosphate buffered solution) is a phosphate buffer solution containing Tween-20. It can provide a relatively stable ionic environment and pH buffering capacity. It is a commonly used buffer in biology, mainly applied in experiments such as immunohistochemistry, in-situ hybridization, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and for washing immunoblot membranes, etc. The product is a colorless liquid, with a pH of 7.2-7.4. Its main components include potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and Tween-20.
The 1X PBST buffer solution can be used directly. Storing it at 4°C can extend the product's shelf life. If it is not to be used for a long time, low-temperature storage is recommended.
Precautions
Precipitation is more likely to occur during low-temperature storage. If precipitation is found, please shake the solution or place it in a 37°C water bath until it is completely dissolved before use.
