Product Introduction
Residual host cell DNA in biological products poses various risks such as tumorigenicity and infectivity. Therefore, accurate quantitative detection of trace residual DNA is particularly important. Pretreatment is the process of extracting and purifying trace DNA from complex sample matrices in biological products. An effective and stable pretreatment method is the foundation for ensuring accurate detection of residual DNA and other rapid nucleic acid detection methods.
The Host Cell Residual DNA (Magnetic Bead Method) Sample Pretreatment Kit launched by Junyan Biology can meet both manual extraction and automatic extraction. Manual extraction is accurate and sensitive, while combined with a fully automatic nucleic acid extractor, it is efficient and convenient. The recovery rate of both extraction methods detected by qPCR can reach 70%-130%, and the sensitivity can reach 0.001pg/μL.

For DNA samples of different host types, both manual and automatic extractions were performed, and the final sample recovery rates were all within 70%-130%, which are better than the 50%-150% required by the Pharmacopoeia.
CHO gDNA reference standards with total amounts of 0.03pg, 3pg, and 300pg were added to two sample matrices (PBS + 10mg/mL BSA and PBS + 10mg/mL casein) for pretreatment, and the final spiked recovery rates were all within 70%-130%.
