Protein A ELISA Kit
Product Introduction
During the production of antibody drugs, Protein A affinity chromatography media is commonly used. However, the detachment of Protein A ligands is inevitable, which easily causes contamination of antibodies and poses potential risks to the safety and effectiveness of antibody drugs. As a process-related impurity, Protein A residue is required to be ≤10-20 ppm in the monographs of Chinese Pharmacopoeia (Volume 3), and corresponding requirements for Protein A residue are also specified in USP <130>.
Product Advantages
The kit has high versatility and can detect various imported and domestic Protein A ligands. The kit with item number P0111A-96 is suitable for detecting Protein A ligands including MabSelect SuRe, MabSelect PrismA, recombinant Protein A (Chutian Microspheres), and MaXtar® ARPA ligand Protein A (Bio-Link). The kit with item number P0111B-96 is suitable for detecting Protein A ligands including NMab®, NMab Pro, NMab Titan, and UniMab EXE from Suzhou NanoMicro Technology. Both kits use acid treatment for sample pretreatment. After sample dilution, the sample can be directly added for reaction without tedious steps such as heating and centrifugation, featuring simple operation.
