Pichia Pastoris Residual DNA (qPCR) Detection Kit
As a type of yeast, Pichia pastoris shares similar molecular and genetic manipulation advantages with Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Moreover, its heterologous protein expression level is 10 to 100 times that of the latter, making Pichia pastoris a highly useful protein expression system. Volume 3 of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2020 Edition) stipulates that the residual DNA amount in biological preparations produced using cell matrix shall not exceed 100 pg per dose, and the residual DNA amount in biological products expressed using bacterial or fungal culture (such as yeast and E. coli) shall not exceed 10 ng per dose.
This kit is equipped with Pichia pastoris DNA quantitative reference standards, enabling rapid and accurate quantitative detection of Pichia pastoris residual DNA content in intermediates, semi-finished products and final products of various biological products and pharmaceuticals. The linear range of the kit is 300 pg/μL - 0.03 pg/μL. It can be used in conjunction with Junyan Bioscitech's "Host Cell Residual DNA Sample Preparation Kit (Magnetic Bead)" and "Automatic Nucleic Acid Purification Instrument".
