Product Introduction

As a primary packaging cell line for retroviral vector production, PG13 cells may introduce cell-derived residual host DNA impurities during production and purification processes. These residual DNA fragments pose potential risks. Therefore, global pharmaceutical regulatory authorities require monitoring and control of exogenous host DNA residues in biological products to ensure their safety and quality controllability.


Junyan Biotech’s independently developed PG13 residual DNA fragment (qPCR) detection kit enables rapid and accurate quantification of PG13 residual DNA fragments in intermediate, semi-finished, and finished biological products. The kit has a linear range of 300 pg/μL to 0.003 pg/μL for fragments of 120 bp, 259 bp, and 505 bp. It is used in conjunction with Junyan Biotech’s "Host Cell Residual DNA (Magnetic Bead Method) Sample Pretreatment Kit."
