The Escherichia coli (E. coli) expression system is the preferred host for expressing small-molecular-weight proteins or proteins with relatively simple structures. It mainly expresses cytokine drugs such as insulin, interferons, and interleukins, and the content of residual E. coli DNA in these drugs needs to be strictly controlled. In addition, amplified plasmids require quality control for residual E. coli DNA before they can be used for applications such as infecting 293 cells and viral packaging. Most of a large number of biological products, such as therapeutic proteins and industrial enzymes, are expressed using E. coli as the host. Meanwhile, biological products used for disease treatment or prevention are subject to strict quality control, among which nucleic acid residues are a top priority among all quality control standards. As a host cell for various biological products, residual nucleic acids from E. coli cannot be ignored.


The E. coli Residual DNA Fragment (qPCR) Detection Kit independently developed by Junyan Biology is equipped with E. coli DNA quantitative reference standards traceable to national reference standards. It enables rapid and accurate quantitative detection of residual E. coli DNA fragment content in intermediates, semi-finished products, and finished products of various biological products. The linear range of the kit is 0.003 pg/μL - 300 pg/μL. This kit is used in conjunction with Junyan Biology's Host Cell Residual DNA Sample Pretreatment Kit.

Standard linearity: R² ≥ 0.980; amplification efficiency: 90% ≤ Eff (%) ≤ 110%; CV of detection values at each concentration < 15%;


Accuracy (spiked recovery rate): 70% - 130%;


Limit of quantitation (LOQ): 0.003 pg/μL; CV ≤ 20%; measurement deviation not exceeding |±20%|.
